Good federal contracts should go to the firms that do the work well.
Federal agencies buy janitorial and grounds maintenance work in every state, much of it in contracts sized for a small local firm. Plenty of small cleaning and landscaping companies could do that work well. Most never bid, because finding the right solicitations and reading them takes hours a week that an owner running crews doesn't have.
So the contracts go to whoever has a bid person: a larger competitor, or the incumbent nobody challenged. That is the gap Trade Bid Desk exists to close. We do the finding and the reading, so you can spend your time deciding and bidding.
What you get
- Every federal solicitation in your trade, found for you. We check SAM.gov daily for new notices under janitorial (NAICS 561720) and landscaping (NAICS 561730), and track contracts coming up for rebid from USAspending.gov award records.
- The poor fits screened out. Contracts that look reserved for AbilityOne nonprofits (we check by incumbent name, so a few may slip through) and notices whose deadline has passed are dropped before they reach you, so the list is work you can actually bid on.
- A go/no-go note on the rest. Bid desk subscribers get a short review of each contract: the set-aside, site visit, bonding and insurance, past performance and wage determination, ending in a clear call: bid, watch, or pass, with the reason.
- Drafted responses when you decide to bid. We write the response, a compliance checklist and the open questions for you to review, price and sign.
- Flat fees. $149 a month for the bid desk, $250 for your first drafted bid. We never take a share of a contract you win.
- No sales calls. Prices are on the page, you order online, and everything after that happens in writing. Cancel online any time.

Our limits
We cover federal contracts only for now; state and city bids are not in the list yet, and we will say so here when that changes. We don't give legal, tax or financial advice. A drafted response never includes past performance, certifications or references you haven't given us.
